Today, Marigold died.
Marigold was an old lady, full of character who will be greatly missed by all here. She was so thin on her arrival that we did not expect her to make it through that first winter but with some extra care Marigold spent more than 3 happy years with us. She changed from a little madam into a sweet girl, always looking for some attention and remembered fondly by all who met her.
Today, Cretan Animal Welfare and Cretan Donkey Care lost one of its flowers. Let us hope she is now in a field full of green grass with other flowers for company.
